DUBAI // A public relations manager molested three employees and threatened to kill them, a court heard.
Egyptian A E, 40, often harassed the women, pestering them for sex and groping them, prosecutors told the Criminal Court.
One of the women secretly filmed his actions.
“He often told me he wanted to have sex with me and marry me, while in the car he would touch my body and when I stopped him he threatened to kill me and cancel my residency,” said one of the women, his secretary.
She said she had been molested in the office numerous times, but was too scared to report him to police because she had no evidence.
“I decided to record him without his knowledge,” the secretary said. “I filmed him as he touched my breast and also as he kissed my colleague against her will.”
A second woman said the manager started molesting her in March this year and continued until May, when the recording was made.
“Once, we were heading to Abu Dhabi, he touched my behind and breast and asked to have sex with me,” said the woman.
She said she pushed him away but he threatened to break her leg, run her over with a car, cancel her visa and kill her.
A third woman said she had also been molested and threatened.
The manager was arrested after the first woman took the recording to a police station and reported him.
Prosecutors said the recording showed the man talking indecently to one of the women, kissing one against her will and touching the legs of a third woman.
In court the manager denied charges of molestation and making threats to kill. He said he had caught the three women embezzling money from the company and that they had invented the allegations to get back at him.
The case was adjourned to December 5.
