Man who turned knife on himself after stabbing wife to death at Dubai Indian school dies

The man who used the knife on himself after stabbing his wife near the gates of the New Indian Model School has died.

DUBAI // A man who stabbed his wife to death outside a school in Dubai last week has died in hospital.

The man died on Monday after the October 31 incident at the New Indian Model School in Al Garhoud where he stabbed his wife to death, then used the knife on himself.

The Indian, identified as Ranjit, had been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Rashid Hospital.

Witnesses at the school last week said the Indian victim worked as a bus attendant. She had just left a bus carrying teachers to a morning meeting when she was confronted by her husband.
