Dubai // A man stole a woman’s mobile phone and threatened to post her personal pictures online if she did not have sex with him, a court was told.

The woman, Z A, claimed the Emirati defendant, F M, told her he worked at the Roads and Transport Authority and he would help her find a job there.

“He asked me to give him my CV so I met him on December 26 last year,” said the woman.

Z A told the Dubai Criminal Court that while they were in his car, F M, 31, asked her to have sex with him.

“I refused and told him to drop me off but he didn’t. I tried to open the car’s door while it was moving, he pulled me inside and calmed me down assuring me he will drive me back to my car,” she said.

When they got to her car and as she was leaving his vehicle, he snatched her mobile phone and told her that if she did not have sex with him, he would post her pictures on the internet.

The defendant denied theft and issuing threats and the next hearing was set for December 18.
