Man exposed himself and pressed against woman in Dubai supermarket

Dubai Criminal Court was told that on September 5 this year the Bangladeshi driver, 31, unzipped his trousers and sexually assaulted a woman by standing behind her and pressing against her back.

DUBAI // A driver exposed his privates to a woman and pushed himself against her while she was shopping.

The Bangladeshi driver, 31, unzipped his trousers and pressed against her back on September 5.

“I was shopping in a hypermarket in Satwa when I suddenly felt someone touching me,” said the Filipina victim, 40. “When I turned back I saw him with his privates exposed.”

She screamed at the man, who then apologised. He was arrested at the supermarket.

In Dubai Criminal Court, he confessed to a charge of sexual assault. The verdict has been scheduled for November 11.
