A taxi driver yesterday denied threatening to stab a colleague to death.
SH, from Bangladesh, was charged with telling SS, an Indian, that he would kill him if he did not sign off on a complaint filed against him at his office in Mussaffah.
Witnesses said the defendant entered the office then held a knife to the Indian's throat.
"Where can I get a knife when I drive a taxi?" the accused asked the court in Abu Dhabi.
A verdict will be delivered on November 5.
