Libyan minister tours Sheikh Zayed Mosque

Fawzi Abdel-Aal was briefed on the mosque's history, design and architecture.

Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met the Libyan interior minister Fawzi Abdel-Aal in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

Sheikh Saif accompanied Mr Abdel-Aal on a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque where they viewed the tomb of Sheikh Zayed, the UAE's founding President.

Mr Abdel-Aal was briefed on the mosque's history, design and architecture. The minister is part of a Libyan transitional government delegation that includes the prime minister, Abdulrrahim Al Keeb and the Libyan ambassador to the UAE, Arif Ali Al Nayedh.
