DUBAI // Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of Dubai Executive Council, issued a decree enabling payment in instalments for outstanding fines to government entities in the emirate.
Decision 47 of 2014 stipulates that the director of a government entity can approve applications to settle outstanding fines by instalments for amounts of a minimum Dh5,000 for individuals, and Dh20,000 for companies, provided that the reasons for the request are acceptable.
Instalment plans have been set at a maximum of 12 months.
