Road improvements, new sewage pipes and better lighting are just some of the works being carried out in the outer suburbs of Abu Dhabi.
The work is taking place in neighbourhoods including Bani Yas, Al Nahda and Al Shawamekh by Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The Dh103 million project’s key features include building seven kilometres of roads, installing 194 lamp posts and 5 kilometres of sewage lines. The work also includes extending water lines.
Work started in 2016. It is now entering the final phase in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Public Services Company (Musanada) and is expected to be finished by next March.
