Iftar meals distributed at Al Aqsa mosque in Palestine

Emirates Red Crescent has distributed 700 iftar meals at Al Aqsa Mosque, Palestine, over the past two days as part of its Ramadan Programme.

In a separate move, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has handed out 300 food packs to needy families in Togo, Wam reported.

The foundation also invited 100 students from the Islamic Centre of Togo to an Iftar and distributed 100 iftar meals and food baskets to disadvantaged families in other parts of the country.

The initiative will run until the end of Ramadan.
