The Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Apprentice World Championship (IFAHR) series will now stage nine races in 2015.
Lara Sawaya, executive director of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, also noted that apart from the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship and the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Apprentice Championship, the festival has introduced the Triple Crown in Europe and Triple Pearl in America to support the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup series that carries the name of the father of the nation.
“Regarding the jockeys, specially-made helmets will be distributed free to all jockeys who have arrived in the UAE courtesy of the festival. They will also be provided with credit cards for the apprentice jockeys to buy their requirements as they visit the markets for shopping,” Ms Sawaya said. “The girls are invited to return to Abu Dhabi and attend the H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Endurance Race for Arab countries.”
