As part of this year’s Eid Al Adha celebrations, the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre will host a number of cultural activities for children and adults.

The traditional Emirati events will begin on October 4, the first day of Eid, and continue until October 6 at shopping centres in all seven emirates.

“The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre is pleased to conduct these different cultural activities and events during the Eid Al Adha holidays,” said Ibrahim Adel Rahim, the centre’s director of events.

“Not only will they promote the age-old traditions of Eid, but they are also a testament to the rich heritage of the Emirati people. Preserving the traditions of Eid and the Emirati people is an important aspect of protecting the UAE’s national identity and culture. Eid is one of the most joyous and vibrant occasions celebrated by people in the country, therefore it is essential for Eid celebrations to reflect our rich traditions.”
