Police warned of heavy congestion in Dubai's Healthcare City and Garhoud Bridge area on Monday after several cars collided at about 3pm.
Dubai Police urged drivers to be cautious while traffic was monitored and vehicles cleared.
It said on Twitter that several vehicles were involved.
Google Maps showed heavy traffic near the Sheikh Rashid interchange and the road approaching Garhoud Bridge, where many schools and offices are located.

One of its main goals is to provide permanent treatment solutions for veterinary related diseases.
The taxidermy centre was established 12 years ago and is headed by Dr Ulrich Wernery.

Brunch has been around, is some form or another, for more than a century.
