The founder and managing director of a UAE healthcare group will be honoured at the United Nations.

Dr Shamsheer Vayalil’s philanthropic work will be celebrated at a special event on May 5.

One of his initiatives is the 1,000 Free Heart Surgeries, in which people around the world have undergone successful operations.
