Abdulaziz Awad and his wife became the parents of four girls on Sunday at Al Rahba Hospital.
The Jordanian thanked Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, for his generosity.
“I am a lucky father of four healthy and beautiful babies,” he said. “I feel extremely blessed. I would like to express my gratitude, first to Allah almighty, and then to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his very kind gesture of providing financial support to deliver our quadruplets.”
The children were named Fatima, Shamsa, Aisha and Sheikha.
“Our friends and families recommended Al Rahba Hospital for delivering our babies, and we are very glad that we made that decision,” Mr Awad said. “Our experience exceeded our expectations. The doctors’ and nurses’ response time was amazing, and the hospital facilitated the paper work at a very short notice, which further eased the delivery process.”
Al Rahba Hospital, operated by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha), said the quadruplets were the second set delivered since its opening.
“Putting patients first is what we do best,” said Dr Nellie Shuri Boma, chief medical officer at Al Rahba Hospital. “We are committed to providing our patients medical care in keeping with international standards.
Managed by Johns Hopkins Medicine International, the hospital is the first public hospital in the UAE to receive the Joint Commission International Accreditation, a division of the American-based Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organisation.
“I am very proud of the staff at Al Rahba Hospital,” said Dr Boma. “We wish the parents, the babies and family a life of health, happiness and prosperity.”
