University Hospital Sharjah has opened a new hearing aid clinic.
“Hearing loss is a hidden impairment that should be treated early to allow patients to better hear, understand and communicate,” said Mohammed Ayas, a senior audiologist with UHS.
The hospital sees between 25 and 30 teenagers every month for check-ups related to hearing-loss problems.
