ABU DHABI // The Dar Al Ber Society has spent more than Dh55 million to support thousands of low-income patients over the past 10 years, its official report says.
The report shows the charity has provided a variety of medical and health services to more than 6,700 patients at public and private hospitals, medical centres and clinics in the decade.
Patients who benefited suffered diseases including arteriosclerosis and hepatitis viruses, while others had eye lenses transplanted, corneas replaced, and cataracts removed, as well as cardiac catheterisation operations.
