The UAE reported 1,359 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday, after 118,058 more tests were carried out.
Authorities said 2,037 people recovered from the virus, while two patients died in the past 24 hours.
Since the outbreak began, the Emirates has recorded 125,123 cases of Covid-19. Of these, 95 per cent – or 118,931 patients – have recovered, while 477 have died of related complications.
About 12.5 million Covid-19 tests have been conducted across the country since January, when the UAE reported its first cases of the virus.
The number of active cases now stands at 5,715 – down from more than 10,000 at the start of the month. The UAE last had about 5,700 many active cases on August 6, before the number of infections began to increase again, and on April 20.
Strict safety measures remain in place across the country to prevent further infections.
At the weekend, police in Dubai reminded beach-goers of the regulations as cooler temperatures began to attract crowds to the seaside.
Police urged the public to put safety first when soaking up the sunshine as authorities continue to deal with the pandemic.
The force released a short advisory video to its 1.7 million followers on Twitter that asked people to adhere to key coronavirus measures or face financial penalties.
The measures include wearing a face mask, keeping a distance of at least two metres from others and not gathering in groups of more than five, unless they are family members.
Those caught on the beach without face masks or gathering in large groups face fines of Dh3,000.
"Because your safety is important to us, we ask you to follow the precautionary measures when going to the beaches of the emirate. Co-operate with us to ensure your safety," police said on Twitter.
Police officials said 721 people were caught breaching safety guidelines between May 29 and September 20.
