Abu Dhabi // Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has signed agreements with two insurance providers in an effort to allow more people access to their facilities. Patients enrolled in AXA’s Star Plus network and select plans of NAS Administration Services are now covered at CCAD.
Before, only patients with Daman enhanced and Thiqa plans, as well as those who wished to pay themselves, were treated at CCAD.
Dr Tomislav Mihaljevic, chief executive officer at CCAD, said: “Expanding patient access to our services is of the upmost importance as we continue our next phase of growth and support our mission of helping to reduce the need for patients to travel abroad for complex and critical care.”
Patients can consult their insurance providers to determine eligibility for claims reimbursement.
CCAD also provides financial counselling via its contact centre.
