Abu Dhabi Police arrested a 35-year-old Arab woman who posed as a pharmacist to sell controlled drugs without prescriptions.
Investigations showed the pharmacy management and the suspect's husband, who works at the same shop, allowed the woman to work without a licence.
Acting on a tip-off, an anti-narcotics task force caught the suspect after she sold medically controlled narcotic pills without a prescription to an undercover officer, said Col Dr Rashid Mohammed Borshid, head of CID at Abu Dhabi Police.
