ABU DHABI // Ensuring social stability for Emirati families is one of the top priorities of the President, Sheikh Khalifa, said Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, during a meeting with a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.

“Policies and programmes always focus on the welfare and well-being of Emirati citizens and improvement of their quality of life, particularly in housing, being a key pillar for supporting the stability and cohesion of the Emirati family so as to effectively contribute to the nation’s development and progress,” Sheikh Mohammed said during the meeting held at Al Bahr Palace on Tuesday.

He also urged the authority to float innovative initiatives in areas such as design and specifications of modern, sustainable housing complexes that cater to the requirements and lifestyle of Emirati families.

The delegation thanked the Crown Prince for his support for efforts aimed at securing a decent lifestyle for citizens.

The delegates said Sheikh Mohammed’s directives and constant follow-up with Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, encouraged them to do their utmost to provide high quality services to citizens, reported Wam, the state news agency.
