Etihad 46, a joint internal security exercise between specialist police and security units, concluded on Tuesday.
Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, watched the exercises with Lt Gen Saif Al Shaafar, the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Committee of Internal Security.
Lt Gen Al Sahaafar said the exercise went as planned and the participants showed great effectiveness, Wam, the UAE state news agency reported.
The exercise is part of the efforts to make the UAE among the safest countries in the world and continue its development.
The event was also attended by high-ranking officials in the police and military.
