Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed meets president of Chad

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Monday received the visiting Chad President Idriss Deby.

The leaders discussed ways of improving cooperation between the UAE and Chad by focusing on the economy, trade, investment, development and energy, state news agency Wam reported.

They also discussed the potential for forging economic partnerships, joint development programmes and vital projects as well as regional and international developments.

On Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, had received Mr Deby at the Zabeel Palace.

The Chad president said he was keen for the two countries to cooperate more closely.
