  • Six new UAE ambassadors to friendly countries have been sworn in before Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. Present at the event were H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister. Those who took the oath of office were UAE Ambassadors-designate Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Bana to India, Mohammed Yusouf Al Awadi to Peru, Gazi Abdullah Al Mahri to Ethiopia, Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Tunaiji to Mongolia, Khaled Omran to Japan and Badr Abdullah Al Matrouchi to Cuba.
