Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed offered condolences to the families of six Emirati serviceman killed in a vehicle accident.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces paid warm tribute to the serving soldiers during visits to mourning majlis at Dibba Al Fujairah, Al Hanya in Fujairah and Foah and Manazef in Al Ain on Monday.

The bodies of the soldiers were returned to Abu Dhabi on Saturday aboard a UAE Air Force plane.

Their deaths were announced in a statement carried by state news agency, Wam, on Friday.

The men were named as Captain Saeed Ahmed Rashid Al Mansouri; Warrant Officer Ali Abdullah Ahmed Al Dhanhani; Warrant Officer Zayed Musllam Suhail Al Amri; Warrant Officer Saleh Hassan Saleh bin Amro; Warrant Officer Nasser Mohamed Hamad Al Kaabi, and Sergeant Saif Dhawi Rashid Al Tunaiji.

"Our martyrs who sacrificed their souls to defend our nation's security and stability and maintain our gains will be a source of pride for Emiratis, generation after generation," Sheikh Mohamed said.

While exchanging talk with the families of the deceased, Sheikh Mohamed said they will leve behind a lasting legacy.

''Families of our martyrs are a role model for the values of loyalty, belonging and giving instilled in all Emiratis. Their stories, acts of patriotism and strong will be narrated with full pride by generations to come," he said.

Sheikh Mohamed extended his sympathies alongside a number of senior government figures, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
