Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed visited two Emirati families at their residences in Al Ain on Friday.
The visit by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces was described by Mohamed bin Muqrin Al Amery and Hamdan Nasser Al Mansouri as a reflection of the attention the Rulers paid to the people of the country.
Photographs of the visit released by Wam, the state news agency, showed Sheikh Mohamed spending time talking to the young children of both families.
The UAE nationals thanked him for engaging with the people of the country.
The conversation centred on the need for UAE citizens to work together toward building the prosperity of the country, according to Wam.
