Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai next week.
He will provide the summit with his vision of the future for Pakistan, which was described as a “pivotal socio-economic role in the region and the wider world”.
Mr Khan will be speaking at the seventh edition of the WGS, which is being held in Dubai from Sunday, February 10-12.
The development of the human resources sector and the government’s work in contributing to a better future for the Pakistani youth were all predicted to be on Mr Khan’s agenda.
Mr Khan was also expected to discuss how his government was aiming to enhance its position on the global economic and trade map as well as community-focused initiatives such as providing more jobs and developing housing projects.
Other highlights of the WGS line-up included a talk from Hollywood superstar Harrison Ford, who will be discussing the future of oceans.
There will also be a recorded message from Pope Francis, who had only been in the UAE last week where he said mass to a crowd of 150,000 at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The WGS will also be host to more than 4,000 senior decision makers from 140 countries made up of heads of state, ministers and business leaders at Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah.
