ABU DHABI // The Executive Committee of Abu Dhabi Executive Council has reviewed key performance indicators ahead of the official launch of the Abu Dhabi Plan.

The review of the KPIs follows the review of the updated version of the master plan by Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, National Security Adviser and Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, last December. The masterplan has 25 objectives and 83 government programmes.

Performance indicators measure the true effect of government entities’ projects and plans over the next five years, according to Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Executive Council, who presided over the meeting.

The KPIs, he said, are considered the cornerstone of achieving the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Plan. In total 201 performance indicators were determined for the various government sectors from 143 workshops organised with 60 government entities taking part.
