Emirati students studying abroad are the pride of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said this week.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces met a group of students pursuing higher education at various universities in Germany, during his two-day official visit to European country.

While in Berlin, Sheikh Mohamed met the Emirati scholarship-holding students and encouraged them to study hard so they may contribute to the UAE's development.

"I met our scholarship holders in Berlin. They are our pride and represent the UAE. They embody our ambition to bring in a competent and educated generation that contributes to the national upswing. We have great confidence in the success of Zayed's children," Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said on Twitter.

The Crown Prince said Emiratis studying abroad serve as a bridge of communication with people around the world as they represent the UAE’s culture, traditions, and customs.

He said the UAE would spare no measure to support the students in achieving their goals so they may get the best education to serve their country.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, were also present at the meeting.
