FUJAIRAH // The Fujairah Welfare Association has launched a number of programmes and projects to raise the academic level of Emirati students in grades 11 and 12.
Ali Ibn Abbad, general director of the association, noted that 3,650 youngsters will benefit from the ‘Assisting Students’ programme, with that number expected to increase by the beginning of the academic year.
Mr Abbad said the association runs a number of educational aid programmes in the emirate, reported Wam, the state news agency.
He also pointed out the keenness of the association to provide opportunities to distinguished Emirati students to take over positions to service society.
