Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, received Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at Zabeel Palace in Dubai on Sunday.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who is also Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, hosted an iftar reception to which ministers and senior officials were invited.
The pair exchanged best wishes on the occasion of Ramadan, reported state news agency Wam.
Also in attendance were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, each of whom were recently married.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, also attended the iftar along with a number of other ministers, dignitaries and senior officials.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed performed maghrib prayers together when they prayed for the UAE's prosperity and the health and happiness of President Sheikh Khalifa.
