Dh7m worth of grants from Marriage Fund to reach 213 people

ABU DHABI // Hundreds of people will benefit from more than Dh7 million in grants provided by the Marriage Fund.

The 213 beneficiaries, the fifth wave of recipients this year, were notified via text message that the money had been transferred to their bank accounts, the state news agency Wam reported.

The announcement was made by Dr Maitha Al Shamsi, Minister of State and chairman of the Marriage Fund. The Fund provides citizens with financial support for the formation of an Emirati family, encouraging recipients to marry fellow citizens.
