Ajman will hold a census next year of the emirate’s population and buildings on the orders of Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
Engineer Saeed Saif Al Matrooshi, secretary-general of the Executive Council, said the project will provide comprehensive and detailed statistical data about the demographic, social and economic make up of the population.
He added that the Ajman Census 2016 aims to provide a framework for conducting specialized research into manpower, family budget, death and migration in the emirate.
