ABU DHABI // Abu Dhabi Police has conducted an evacuation drill at Al Qudra School in Falah on July 29, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management team.
The drill is part of a plan to review the readiness of the teams in dealing with emergencies as well as their capacity to handle crises.
Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and head of the local emergency, crisis and disasters management team, commended the participating teams’ coordination and responsiveness which contributed to the success of the drill.
The initiative is part of readiness procedure that aims to raise the competence of entities in the emirate of Abu Dhabi as per international standards of emergency, crisis and disaster management.
