The sister city agreement between Abu Dhabi and Brisbane, the capital of the State of Queensland, Australia, was renewed on Thursday during a meeting between Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, and Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Graham Quirk, during a visit to UAE.
The two sides discussed opportunities for joint investments between the two countries, ways of bolstering their partnership and their bilateral economic, investment and trade relations.
The agreement was first signed in Abu Dhabi in February 2009.
