A pupil is believed to have fallen from a school balcony in Abu Dhabi on Sunday morning.
The girl, whose name and age have not been released, is said to have fallen from a height at the British School Al Khubairat. The extent of her injuries are not known.
The secondary school pupil was taken to hospital in an ambulance, accompanied by her mother, witnesses said.
On Sunday, the school told The National they were "saddened by the incident" and said they were dealing with local authorities.
A representative said they would not release further details out of respect for the pupil and her family and that the school day has resumed as normal.
Abu Dhabi Police was contacted for comment.
