Expat mums in Sharjah to get 60 days’ paid maternity leave

The decision came following directives by Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, a member of the Sharjah Executive Council, has praised the council’s decision to grant expatriate mothers maternity leave for 60 days with pay, implementing directives by Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, reported WAM, the state news agency.

New fathers are entitled to paternity leave for three days with pay.
