UAE mobile carriers are changing their network names to celebrate the arrival of President Xi Jinping of China.
Both Etisalat and Du are substituting the message ”WelcomePresChina” where the network name usually appears in the top left hand corner of mobile phones – although it does not seem to appear for every customer.
A number of mobile customers have tweeted screenshots of the message.
