Sunny conditions are expected on Thursday in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but further down the coast there is a risk of sandstorms.

Temperatures are predicted to reach up to 32°C in the morning in Dubai and 31°C in Abu Dhabi, but will dip slightly in the afternoon.

Cloud cover is expected later in the day.

There is a warning for dust storms, with visibility of less than 2,000 metres until 2pm on Thursday.

The sun will return all day on Friday as temperatures rise.

But the reprieve from unsettled weather will be short-lived. Temperatures are set to drop again as thunderstorms hit throughout the day on Saturday.
