Weather officials have warned UAE residents to be on alert of hazardous weather conditions that could occur due to strong winds and rough seas.

The wind speed has been estimated at 50 km/hr and the waves could reach up to 2.7 metres offshore.

The cool weather of the past week is not over yet, with temperatures expected to decrease, and partly cloudy skies.

Strong winds are expected to cause blowing dust and poor visibility at times.

By night, the wind speed is expected to drop to 40 km/hr on land, and reach up to 55 km/hr over the sea.
