Fog covered most of the country overnight and is not expected to lift until late morning.
The National Center for Meteorology and Seismology said patches of fog blanketed the UAE just before midnight, and visibility is down to less than 500 meters.
Videos taken by motorists from across the emirates showed poor visibility and foggy conditions across the emirates’ streets.
The NCM reposted the videos to warn residents and motorists to take care of weather hazards.

Motorists shared similar videos from Al Marfa’a, Al Dhafra, in the Western Region, Ajman’s Ittihad Street, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed road (E311) and Maleeha in Sharjah, and on the Dubai Hatta highway.
