Temperatures are due to peak at 42°C shortly after midday, accompanied by winds of up to 23kph.
The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of mostly clear skies and breezes.
Temperatures are predicted to be slightly hotter, reaching 40°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 19kph.
The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted a chance of some fog and mist forming by night and into Thursday morning.
Moderate winds could pick up sand and dust during the day, it said.
The Centre said humidity will increase by night.
Night time temperatures could drop to around 30°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Wednesday night and the early hours of Thursday morning.
