Strong winds and dusty conditions will reduce visibility with rainfall likely across the western and northern regions of the country.
Wind speeds will touch 45kph and visibility will be down to less than 2,000 metres on Saturday in the internal northern and eastern regions, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
The centre issued an alert for the Arabian Gulf with wind speeds reaching 50kph and wave heights up to 7 feet during the day.
Thick cloud cover will blanket the country with hazy conditions persisting through the day.
Conditions over the Oman Sea and the Arabian Gulf would turn calm overnight with temperatures rising on Sunday in some internal and coastal areas.
