UAE weather: Humidity set to rise over next few days

Hazy, cloudy conditions forecast over eastern areas

Cloudy and hazy conditions have been forecast for the next two days.

The cloud cover will increase over eastern areas, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology

Winds will blow sand and dust over some exposed areas and humidity is set to rise at night and in the morning near the coastal areas.

The sea will turn rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and remain moderate in the Oman sea.

Temperatures will range from 27°C to 44°C in the interior regions, 28°C to 43°C along the coast, 23°C to 36°C in the mountains.

The maximum humidity will be 60 to 90 per cent across coastal regions, between 40 to 70 per cent in internal areas and 35 to 65 per cent in the mountains.

The lowest temperature recorded in the country was 23.7°C Jais mountain early on Saturday and the highest temperature was 46.7°C in Mezaira.
