Coastal areas will experience a sunny morning followed by a misty, foggy afternoon on Thursday.
As the day progresses, humidity will build in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, reaching highs of between 65 and 90 per cent in the early evening and overnight.
Top temperatures along the coast will be 40°C, with lows of about 29°C.
Light to moderate westerly to north-westerly winds should help to provide some respite from the sticky conditions.
Conditions will be moderate, becoming rough at times especially westward during the day in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
