Hazy weather is set to linger throughout the week with a slight drop in temperature expected over some areas starting from Saturday, forecasters said.
The National Centre of Meteorology said that clouds could form over eastern and southern areas during the upcoming days and may be associated with some rainfall.
Humidity will increase at night and during the morning over the coastal and interior regions along with fog and mist especially westward.
Northeasterly winds, with speeds between 18 to 28kph, with 38kph gusts, will cause dusty patches over some exposed areas during daytime and will continue to Tuesday.
Temperatures in Abu Dhabi during the week is expected to range between 40°C to 43°C during daytime and 32°C to 30°C at night, while in Dubai it will range from 38 °C to 41°C during the day and 31°C to 32°C at night.
On Friday and Saturday, the sea is expected to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman but will become rough by Sunday night at the Arabian Gulf.
