Heavy fog and dust blanketed Dubai this morning but conditions have improved slightly.
Motorists have been warned to drive carefully. The National Centre of Meteorology warned commuters of fog and low visibility until 9am today, especially in northern and inland areas of the country.
Weather in Dubai on Wednesday is expected to be humid with a moderate breeze and clear skies.
Temperatures are predicted to peak at 35°C in the afternoon, with freshening winds of up to 24kph.
Humidity is predicted to be greatest during the night and into Thursday morning.
The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of high humidity and light winds.
Peak temperatures are expected to hit 34°C with winds of 21kph.
