UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for warm and sunny Friday

Temperatures are expected to rise over the weekend

Weather conditions in Dubai on Friday will be clear and sunny with moderate winds.

Temperatures are due to peak at 28°C shortly after midday, accompanied by gentle breezes of up to 21kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and light breezes.

Temperatures are predicted to be slightly hotter, reaching 29°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 18kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted a chance of some fog and mist forming in coastal areas.

The Centre said humidity will increase by night into Saturday morning.

Night time temperatures could drop to around 22°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
