The high humidity that has made outdoor activity practically impossible over the past few weeks is continuing to linger.
Levels hit 100 per cent again in parts on Abu Dhabi on Sunday, with Ashaab reaching maximum humidity early on Sunday morning.
The conditions are caused by northeasterly and northwesterly winds pushing moisture-soaked air in from the seas.
Coastal areas are usually the worst affected.
Forecasters at the National Centre of Meteorology said the conditions will persist into mid-week.
Meanwhile, it will be hot and hazy on Sunday with winds blowing dust over some exposed areas.
Maximum temperatures will reach 48°C in internal areas, while it could sink as low as 25°C in the mountains.
The Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman are expected to be reasonably calm.
