Cloudy and hazy weather will continue through the weekend with the chance of rainfall likely in the east.
Light to moderate winds can cause dust and sand to blow across scattered areas with humidity set to rise at night and in the morning near coastal areas, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.
Fog and mist was forecast in the western regions by the centre with the sea staying moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Temperatures will range from 27 to 46°C in the interior regions, 26 to 44°C along the coast, 23 to 35°C in the mountains.
The maximum humidity would be 60 to 85 per cent across coastal regions, between 60 to 80 per cent in internal areas and 30 to 50 per cent in the mountains.
The lowest temperature in the country recorded was 22.3°C in the Jais mountains on Thursday.
