Al Ain Municipality has completed a month-long Ghaf tree pruning campaign, with the help of the local community, to improve the overall appearance of the city.
The Ghaf tree has always played an important role in complementing the lifestyle of Al Ain, according to the municipality.
Mohammad Al Yafei, head of the maintenance division in the parks and recreation facilities division said: “The campaign is launched annually, building on social responsibility, and on its commitment to realise sustainable urban development, foster the quality of services provided to residents and the community. The campaign also seeks to enhance communication between Al Ain residents”.
Mr Al Yafei said the participation of the community and the positive response to the campaign was key to its success.
